Dear Marc,
I want to write and thank you for all the work you've done on our house this year. You probably thought after those first extensive renovations three years ago were complete that we were all done! I do think it is funny that every year I have a project that involves you around Thanksgiving. I must say your guys are always fabulous about that. They are always careful to keep the house clean and visitor ready, they are sensitive to my rising stress levels as the holiday approaches, and on the day itself they always miraculously make the house look like no work is being done.
My whole extended family traipsed up to the new roof deck and they all loved it. They loved the space, the light and air, and the more discerning of them loved the workmanship and detail on the railings. They really are perfect-they have a kind of cool reference to the industrial use of the building, and they make it very airy and liberated up there. I guess you should add "design" to your list of talents.
The new paint job on the front of the house is a big hit with the neighbors. I got a standing ovation from them when I walked into a party! I'm ecstatic that the work on the back wall and roof have finally stopped all the leaks. And the new desk area is beautiful-the built ins have a great craftsmanship, the screen closure makes it all very discrete, and the lighting has your own special touch of detail.
Oddly, I'm looking forward to another project with you and your great team another day-maybe the kitchen? Some handicapped access or an elevator for my elderly mom? A new master bath? You'll definitely be our guy if you'll have us!
Thanks for everything, Marc, and happy holidays to you and all the guys.
Jo
