Dear Marc:

Click to read more Words cannot express our gratitude to you and your remarkable, incomparable crew!

We don't know where we would be if you hadn't come to our "rescue" back in December and repaired, rebuilt, and renovated our home. The conditions you found us in were deplorable -- we had been taken advantage of and left in dire straits. Our home was destroyed, our lives were a mess, and we could see no way out of the trouble we were in. Thank God you came along and changed everything for us! You gave us a way out, you gave us hope, and you've walked us through every step of the process -- it's a truly unbelievable, impossible-to-repay debt we owe you!

First, your crew -- so much more than we could've ever hoped for! You assured us from the start that they were good guys who knew what they were doing, but they so far exceeded our expectations! From the very first day when Roman and Michael came to the door and Lori cried with disbelief that someone was actually going to help us make things right again, to our usual crew of Dennis (scary-smart), Rich (always smiling), Don (we miss him), Jimmy (never stops working), and Ryan (not Brian but "Whitey") -- the guys are all wonderful! Our home and property were treated with such respect -- something we were quite unaccustomed to! Chris, Paul, Bruce, Chuck, Roger -- even Brad -- all great guys who are knowledgeable, professional, polite, and hard-working! They were working in less-than-optimal conditions to say the least (could the rain give us even a little break?!), and yet they never complained, never slowed down. Coming in and fixing someone else's mess is certainly not what they are used to doing or what they enjoy doing, but they did it for us and we could not thank them enough for their incredible work!

Your office staff, Robin and Karen, are a joy! Robin first met us (by email!) at our lowest -- we were pretty much depressed, confused, and shell-shocked. Robin was so positive, reassuring, and inspiring -- she held our hands and helped us back onto our feet! Karen made receiving your weekly invoices a pleasant experience -- always a personal, upbeat note accompanying her emails! Both ladies are not only true professionals, but truly compassionate, caring people!

The consultants you brought in on our case were simply top-notch. We could never have found such first-class professionals with unbeatable expertise! Specifically, Marc Pinard is a premier architect, and the fact that he (because of you!) was willing to take on our "project" is just mind-blowing!

And then, there's you -- my God, what can we say?! You could have (and probably should have!) taken one look at what was left of our house back in December and just walked away. You could have given us the name of some contractors to call and wished us good luck. You could have not even shown up that night to "take a look at things" as a favor to Cathy. But, being the person you are, you recognized that we were wronged and possibly in danger and felt compelled to "help" -- such an inadequate word to describe all that you've done for us! Our debt of gratitude to you is one that -- no matter what we do, say, or give -- we will never be able to repay. You literally saved our home -- made it safe for our children, secured our investment, and made it a place we can once again take pride in. But, you also did so much for our emotional and psychological well-being that convinced us it would be possible to survive this ordeal. Once you came along, the anxiety and fears we had been living with were calmed, and, for the first time, we had hope that we could -- and would -- overcome a seemingly impossible situation. You helped us realize that "It is what it is!" means that nothing's impossible to deal with if you have the good guys on your side. You're an incredible person who we are so fortunate to have in our lives -- as we'd said, no words can adequately convey our gratitude to you, and to Cathy.

We hate to say good-bye to the David Marcus team, but we are definitely thrilled to have our house back -- in better-than-ever condition! If all goes as we hope, the crew will be back in the not-too-distant future for some additional work -- until then, we'll feel like part of our family is missing!

With our most sincere gratitude and appreciation --
Brian and Lori Hahn
